This seems like a spot only known by locals and people who really research their food (me!). Let me tell you, this is well worth the stop! The tamales are obviously delicious, but the mac and cheese is also awesome. I don't know what Rhoda does to it, but it's magic. We finished with mouthwatering pecan and fried peach pie. A must visit, even if it involves a detour!

Had lunch at Rhoda's. Place may not look like much from the outside, but don't let that fool you. The food was delicious and served in ample amounts. Each dish I tried was somehow a bit better than the one I just tasted. At least it seemed that way. What a great meal, and to top it off, the wife and I each had a small homemade pie. If you're in Lake Village Rhoda's is a must stop. You won't be disappointed.

Rhoda's Daughter was so welcoming in explaining the menu and history behind this place. Food was amazing, ribs fall off the bone, chicken crispy and juicy. The place makes you feel right at home. Thank you for the wonderful food !

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. The hole in the wall is the best food!!!! We stopped for lunch and wow the tamales are the best I have ever had. My wife got the lunch special smothered chicken with rice beans and cabbage. Then yes we had to have dessert to go and it was ok. It's all about the main course here.

Today's lunch spot on our trip to Little Rock, Arkansas! The restaurant has 3 tables and does a great takeout business. We had such a fun time talking with Rhoda, her husband James, her son and her daughter Dorothy, who has taken over the cooking for her mom. It's definitely a family affair! Miss Rhoda supervises from her "chef's table" and chats up the guests as soon as they enter. She is a character. We enjoyed lunch plates of smothered chicken, Pinto beans, cabbage, Mac n cheese, cabbage, sweet potatoes and cornbread. With two waters our total bill was $15.

Took a road trip from New Orleans, LA to Branson, MO and the food options along the way were SLIM! There were barely any fast food places too. Pulled this place up on Yelp and decided to stop by and so glad we did. The tamales were fresh and delicious and the pies were just $1! Staff was very friendly and even all the customers that came in could tell we weren't usual customers! Mrs. Rhoda was sitting at a table nearby and was super sweet! Asked where we came from and told us to come back again. Recommend stopping here if you are ever nearby!
